How do I know if the pole is my responsibility?

If the pole is inside your boundary you are responsible for its upkeep. The cost may be shared in situations where several dwellings/ neighbours use same lines. Insurance may cover some costs in some circumstances.

How do I know if the pole is my responsibility?

Below ground checks by a qualified Linesman should be taken out periodically on poles of 10 years or older to ensure the integrity of your pole. Akmac Electrical are able to ensure the ongoing safety of your poles, helping you to avoid loss of power from unexpected outages caused by rotting or extreme weather conditions.
